Breastfeeding Education
Providing comprehensive education on breastfeeding techniques, positions, latch, and milk supply management.
Assessment and Support
Conducting thorough assessments of breastfeeding challenges such as latch issues, low milk supply, nipple pain, and providing personalized support and guidance to address these issues.
Prenatal Counseling
Offering breastfeeding education and support to expectant mothers to help them prepare for breastfeeding before their baby is born.
Postpartum Support
Assisting mothers in the early postpartum period with establishing breastfeeding, managing engorgement, addressing concerns about milk supply, and providing emotional support.
Pumping and Bottle Feeding Guidance
Educating mothers on how to use breast pumps effectively, storing and handling pumped breast milk, and introducing bottle feeding if needed.
Returning to Work Support
Providing guidance on maintaining breastfeeding while returning to work, including strategies for pumping, storing breast milk, and maintaining milk supply.
Weaning Support
Offering guidance and support to mothers when they decide to wean their baby from breastfeeding.
Meet Kara
Kara Rambo, CPNP-PC, IBCLC
I am honored to be an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), the gold standard in expert breastfeeding support. IBCLC's have completed extensive coursework, continuing education requirements, passed a comprehensive international exam, and learned from years of mentored clinical experience.
Additionally, I am a practicing Pediatric Nurse Practitioner providing comprehensive care for children and supporting families.
My passion lies in helping parents feel empowered and confident in their feeding journey. As a mom of four myself, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to every interaction--blending evidence-based care with real-life insight.
